Joseph Bathanti Named NC Poet Laureate
Press 53 poet Joseph Bathanti was today named the new poet laureate of North Carolina! Congratulations, Joseph! Press 53 has published an original collection of poems from Bathanti, Land of Amnesia, and earlier this year reprinted This Metal, a finalist for the National Book Award when it was first published by St. Andrews College Press in 1996.
