Cassette Tapes
Cross-legged on the floor, she tries readjusting eight months of baby, but the giant belly refuses to cooperate. She sighs, reaching into the cabinet for another box. Her husband’s old cassettes, mixed and store-bought. She pauses, then tosses the lot. Next time, pack yourself, she thinks, moving to the next shelf.
