Chance of a Lifetime
Malcolm had always taken the stairs to the former mansion’s upstairs ballroom, never the ornate main lift — until today.
Finally, the honor is his and his replacement is relegated to the creaky, wooden staircase.
Malcolm could not help but grin as the elevator door clanked opened and the pallbearers carried out his coffin.
